Catherine Fieschi is a global authority on populist politics in advanced democracies. She has spent two decades mapping the new faultlines of political, cultural and social dissent and helping democratic actors turn them into opportunities rather than crises. Part academic researcher and part political advisor she brings her comparative expertise to the ORA project. As the project's director, she is responsible for overseeing the project's overall framework.
A prolific writer, Catherine holds a PhD in Comparative Politics from McGill University, operates in French, English and Italian, and splits her time between Paris, London, Florence, and Brussels.
